Wavesailing Assateague

While most of inland Maryland today was dealing with the first snow storm of the year, I was wavesailing Assateague. Not the Gale force i was expecting, but juiced 5.0. Some big boys rolling thru out there, head high, with some kick to em.

No time for a full post now. Check back tomorrow for more shots from todays action, need to get my rest for a dawn patrol tomorrow, Lewes will be firing.

Hey George,
Love your blog!
I am looking for a new board and wondering if you can help me.
I see you have a jp 91 fsw and a rrd.
What is your weight, board and sail sizes.
I sail on lake huron - conditions similar to yours.
I am 195lbs - I am guessing you are a similar weight (hope that is more of a compliment that a insult!)
Thanks
Joe - ontario canada

Hey Joe, I'm about 190lbs, and I sail up to 5.8 is my biggest sail.I too have a 91ltr, that I would have used that day, but I recently broke it, so was forced to use my 109 ltr rrd fsw that day. Also have a 77 lty jp fsw, which I use for those super windy days.
Overall, I love the rrd most, and consider it my favorite board for wavesailing, and I'm looking forward to some new twinsers!

Thanks for the info George!
I am trying to decide on what size board to get.
JP FSW 91/101 vs Fanatic Freewave 95/104 vs Tabou 3s 97.
All for 4.5 & 5.2 sails.
