I have full quiver of smoking hot sales, and brand new carbon waiting for me when i get home.
This is my new 3.7-these are beautiful sails
Dakine also stepped up in large fashion with some of their great products.
Yah, I’m just a little excited!

Three Venue Stand Up Paddle Day on RRD StandupEleven

Up close and personal

Wow-amazing day of exploration on the Delmarva
Our first sesh was after church. We cruised to Prime Hook Wildlife Refuge and SUP'd turkle pond.

There we met a small group of grad students from University of Maryland
They abosolutely loved the concept of Stand up Paddle Boarding, especially as they where there on a scientific mission, and they saw the boards as a means to get to places on the water inaccessable otherwise. We were happy to let them take a spin!
Then Janis and I went for a spin
we explored every corner of the pond
Janis has really fallen in love with SUP. She's HOOKED! Then it was time to hit up a deep water venue: Broadkill Beach on the Delaware Bay. Janis was FWOW: First woman on the water.
The SUP 11 is soo stable.
Amazing wildlife at Primehook
So Janis comes in off the water and says we're going to Assategue, load the boards, the light is great and there is more SUP'in  to be done before Supper.

Next thing I know, we're pulling into Assateague Park.

The women is possessed! She loves to Stand Up Paddle. and she cant get enough :)
Thats Ocean City, Maryland in the background
 I launched
You can actually see the boardwalk of OC way back there
We'd had a pretty full day, but little did we know the best was yet to come. You can't do this any where else in the world than Assateague Island, SUP with the wild ponies.
This was a pretty magical experience.

This was a pretty magical experience to say the least.
With the RRD StandupEleven paddle board, I was able to get right up close to these ponies, using a safe, unthreatening (to wildlife), and green means of conveyance:
While I was out there, quite a croud had gathered to watch, and many wanted to give it SUP a try. So Janis called me in to give up my ride!
We met these folks from Pennsylvania with a recreational travel company . They saw us paddling, pulled up. and immediately expressed an interest. So we hooked them up.
They were thrilled!
