We'll occasionally catch a warm spell even in January or February where temps could reach up into the 60s, although decoupling becomes an issue then.

I suspect sailors in Norway are used to "colder" conditions? so long as there is no ice right?!George Markopouloshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16439149933631899175noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5112012213416238480.post-33874490515552726212008-11-18T18:07:00.000-05:002008-11-18T18:07:00.000-05:00Cool go pro video GM, you lucky one, with "warm" i...Cool go pro video GM, you lucky one, with "warm" in the weather. (Lew are you listening????)

If anyone is wondering why I'm getting rid of the van, its because I'm looking to get set up with a Pickup/SUV truck 4x4. One of the things I learned during wavefest is that when looking for the most ideal wind/wave break setup, you often have to drive on the beach for any number of miles to find it.

During wavefest in Hatteras, I found my self having to depend on my friends to help carry my gear and give me a lift. I swore to myself that this winter i'd make the transition.

I'm so gonna miss that van, but it needs to happen. Nice set up George. We found that with some sail packing mesh you could mount the camera straight to the end of the boom, worked a treat, just dont jump too high.

I too have been working hard on Tacks, pretty confident I will make 80% of them, such a good skill to master. Now just got to make a few more Gybes.

Dave,

I am still so interested in that van!Lanohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00866122996788741704noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5112012213416238480.post-21536975042048626722008-11-18T07:25:00.000-05:002008-11-18T07:25:00.000-05:00Sergey, thxs for the compliment.
