Chilly New Road

Bob Ramsay and I scored gusty 4.5 conditions. Nothing exceptional about the sesh other than the fact we sailed for about 2 hours in 38 degree air temperature. Here are some shots.

Andy, we're missing ya out here..

Post Christmas Sesh

Thick fog and rain had a big impact, but gusty 4.5 conditions tugged at my need to speed.

Big wind on tap for thursday?

Gale Warning?

Perhaps it was a gale by definition, but I've certainly sailed in heavier wind. The forecast was for  40-60, had me up the night before in anticipation. What it turned out to be was 30-40, very gusty 4.5 conditions. No complaints though, especially as I've nailed a new venue just north of the shop at Delmarva Board Sport Adventures here on Fenwick Island.

Perfect venue for W and WNW conditions
 the stronger the better
Fabulous fetch with great rollers....
.....for jumping

 windier than it looks
  but no complaints

 Beautiful grassy area for rigging
 Stoked for sure.

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays everyone

Assateague Groomed To Perfection

Ken and I scored a fabulous day sup surfing Assateague. Lefts and rights, no and zero wind groomed that head high at times period swell to perfection. Sorry, no great pics other than the IPhone to give ya'll a flavor for what it was like. Waves were super long, down the line rides where quite fun
This is the only shot i snapped of Ken on a wave
plenty of company in between sessions
Super stoked!

Assateague Again!

but today had full power in the sail to pick and choose
seemed to me it was side off again, and i was routinely getting 5-6 turns before kicking out.
looking forward to storm conditions early next week.

stoked for sure.

12/12/12

I wanna say I caught 12 waves, and did 12 turns on em.....Eh, not entirely accurate, but today I did score a surprisingly good sesh at Assateague, several 3 turns waves, and the occasional lip smack.
Was even side off at times, and was so much fun...

Nice view from above

Ahhhh I'm stoked...
