Indian River Inlet Southside 10/10/13

For sure this day was fun. Lit 5.0 side on conditions
This was day two for a 4 day noreaster, and it was start to get big on the outside
But very light on the inside

that jetty is a such a luxury to have an really serves its purpose to knock down the shore break and mitigate the current

This day was fun, but nothing compared to the following day that was to come. Day three of this storm was the best day of the year

Lewes 10/10/13

Tower Road 10/7

At Delmarva Board Sports, we were super busy this summer, and I didn't have much time to sail between early June and the AWT. In fact, I didn't get to sail at all. But come labor day, it becomes the season of George ;). If its blowing, I'm usually going.

An absolutely incredible run of wind began on Monday Oct 7. It blew south that first day and I sailed tower road, ocean side. Hadn't sailed this venue in several years.

No waves, but fun powered sailing. I hit a very high jump and the tendon snapped clean in half.
Inspect the closely, and make sure the safety line is attached. Thankfully mine were, and I was able to sail back in without any drama.

This session was just a warm up for what was to come.
It was a helluva week......

Long Overdue

Yah, been super busy here. Rest assured I've been scoring regularly, just not often enough with pics to document the event. At any rate, I'm gonna start with some of the back log in an attempt to bring Live2sail blog back current again.
