Epic Southside |
So yeah, I'm still here guys. Slammed busy with the shop lately. All good. Still stoked beyond measure. I have been scoring a lot of solo sessions at Assateague, both short board and sup + sail. But had been missing that lit-up, big surf intensity, until today. ;)

Beautiful sandbar on the outside |
So I was headed to Assateague, again, when it dawned on me that I'd probably get more worked than anything down there cuz it was upper 20s and very onshore. So why not head north to Indian River, where the jetty would serve well to mitigate both shore pound and current.

Gybing around mountains of water is a blast |
It had been about 20 years believe it or not, since I'd sailed this venue. Too friggin long. Pulled into the parking lot to find Stan I. un-rigging. He'd just come off the water, had a pretty good 4.2 sesh. He encouraged me to rig up, and would snap a few shots with the Nikon. My love language, Bingo! ;)

Jetty just over there on the left. such a luxury to have that

clean ramps and big air time |

Approaching the reef with speed. About a half mile out. So stoked! | | | | |
