Now Is A Great Time To Learn to Windsurf!

......because the new gear is so easy to use. I teach my beginner classes on convertible standup paddle boards. These boards are sooo stable, allowing my students to concentrate on sail handling and the footwork.

First, I have the group go out and SUP for 20-30 minutes, allowing them to get comnfortable, and confident that the boards are super stable. Getting comfortable on the boards without  a sail attached puts the students in a more comfortable state of mind, positioning them to make the most out of the sailing lesson.

Anna was up, sailing on a broad reach, and tacking on her first day
Great job out there Anna!
Devin is a senior ar St Mary's
She sailed away from her first gyvbes today, and was stoked!
Great job Devin!
