Epic Winter Storm

Well, weekend events and circumstances conspired to keep us grounded in Maryland, and as a result, I was unable to jump on what where some pretty good conditions. That being said, twas still an epic weather event here in Maryland. A low pressure system spun into an epic once in a generation noreaster. We got about 20 inches of snow in about 24 hours.

My Dodge Ram kicks all kinds of a$$ in this snow. I was blasting thru snow dunes like this. Hey, if i cant throw some spray off a lip this weekend, at least I'll throw some snow blasting around in my truck!! Yeeha!

30 inches on unplowed streets, and we just motored thru.

The is Vollmerhausen during the height of the storm saturday night

our front yard buried

this car parked on a residential street is literally buried

Janis and I where out an about all during the storm. Helping neighbors, and just enjoying the beauty of the storm. There was even thunder during the storm.

our backyard

our front yard had a some dunes at least 30 inches deep so I......

I dove off the porch and did a swan dive into dune. Had to do it twice cuz we missed the shot the first time. Such a bobby jack ;)

Christmas in a few days, and I'm sure there will a few more sessions in Lewes, and perhaps Assateague too. Stoked!
